Shirakawa is a small town in Japan and its public library is a modern, functional building inspired by the surrounding landscape. In some areas of the library, it is required to be barefoot, so the floor must be comfortable to walk on. The Corkcomfort floor used meets this requirement, with a warm and enjoyable touch, that also complements the building’s peaceful atmosphere.
